Our Mohallah
The concept behind the formation of a Mohallah Institute is rooted in the vision of localizing educational affairs to better serve the community’s specific needs and preferences. As the amalgamation of all education-related affairs under Umoor Talimiyah at the higher level is designed to streamline and centralize educational governance, the Mohallah Institute serves as a localized representation of this overarching structure.
The Mohallah Institute is therefore “ A physical representation of the Umoor Talimiyah umbrella at the mohallah level. It is an organization and a team of khidmat guzar that will impart Deeni Taleem, facilitate Hifz al-Quran, organize Asbaaq, follow up with all migrated and dropped out students and process all scholarship applications. It will work to institutionally manage the entire scope of Umoor Talimiyah.”
Furthermore, the Mohallah Institute serves as a bridge between the central educational board (Majma) and individual mohallahs, ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and implementation of educational policies, objectives, and directives at the local level.
In addition, the Mohallah Institute facilitates maximum utilization of available HR and physical resources by eliminating organizational barriers between all Umoor Talimiyah activities, including Madaris Imaniyah, local Qism al-Tahfeez, local Umoor Talimiyah sub-committees. This promotes seamless collaboration and resource-sharing that enhances efficiency and effectiveness
